In Germany, Stefan Brockling throws himself into the water of a lake in Grevenbroich to catch a swan and remove a fishing hook that is planted in one of his paws. Accompanied by another animal rescue volunteer, Stefan first fills his bird food pockets and settles by the lake to feed the Swans so they get closer to shore. The wounded animal is within reach, the rescuer throws himself in the water to catch the bird and be able to take care of him. Getting rid of the hook, the swan can then find his companion on the surface of the peaceful waters of the lake.
