Fight in a Chicago prison
A fight broke out between two gangs in the common part of a prison. The scene took place on January 6, 2017 in the common areas of Cook County Jail Prison in Chicago. The fight lasted more than a minute and was filmed by a surveillance camera. In the video in the middle of the image, one can see a man put violently knocked down by one of the detainees. In total, 5 prisoners were injured, with weapons made from inhaler. The injured were transferred to two different hospitals. Among them, four indicted for murder and awaiting trial. The fight stopped after the guards arrived in the compound. Cook County Jail is the largest prison in the United States with 9,000 inmates (men and women).
