Big picture of Andromeda
The satellite Hubble has taken the January 5, 2015 a very big picture of the galaxy Andromeda known as M31. It resolution is 69 536 x 22 230 pixels (1.5 billion of pixels) and the size is 4.3 Go.
The part of the picture contains 100 million stars knowing that in total there are more 1 billion of stars. The galaxy stretching across over 40 000 light-years and is at 2.55 million light year of the Earth.
