Anu, a 7-year-old English girl with a leg amputated shortly after her birth, shows her new prosthesis for the first time to her classmates at a Birmingham school. The children run near the girl and hasten to ask: "Is this your new pink leg?" Happy to find Anu, several girlfriends give her a hug. This prosthesis will allow the girl to be able to run, dance or perform all the activities that are children of her age. Anu was able to benefit from this new prosthesis through funding from the National Health Service (NHS) based on a donation program to provide activity prostheses to amputee children.
