Dan Perlman, biophysicist at the University of Brandeis in Massachusetts, invented a bottle of wine that does not drop. Anyone who has already poured wine knows the problem of the drops that flow along the bottle. A biophysicist has finally found a solution! For 3 years, Dan Perlman studied the flow of the liquid on the neck of the bottle. His solution is simple, just add a Groove or a sort of gutter to the neck to stop the flow. The glass of the bottle is hydrophilic, it attracts water so the wine. By adding a Groove of 2 mm thick, this breaks this hydrophilic effect and prevents the wine to flow along the bottle.
